![]() ![]() There are two quests in Act 2 that require the scholar tag. This is the only hidden, in-dialog stat check in the game. There is no other indication that something might be there (no dirt mound, no button appears, etc). In the Fort Joy dungeon soul jar room, you need 15 wits for a specific option to appear when you inspect a statue. In Act 1, it's easy to miss one piece of armor from a set. ![]() This game is very consistent in always providing some means of getting into/out of areas and finishing quests, regardless of your previous choices. You can also kill everyone with armor for experience. But that’s what I can come up with inside the fort if you really want to do it all before you escape. There’s another fight right outside the fort this way. The frogs in the elf cave, rescue amyro, kill griff and crew, withermoore and jar quest/jar fights, crocodiles west of the fort on beach, turtles past Fane’s encampment before reaching fort, gift bag contamination gear fight near turtles, zombie dug outside before reaching fort, magisters inside fort including patroller and dog, houndmaster, verdas, magisters near boat inside fort, dogs inside fort, silent monks inside fort, kniles, save dog inside cage in fort, orivand, save paladin cork. If you want a list of exp inside the fort that’s basic names or locations, I can try. If you want to start fights with them on your terms instead of when you get spotted, fight them before you escape. However leaving the fort will make all magisters in the fort hostile to you. It’s hard to lock off anything important because the game will tell you when it will happen. Welcome To The Divinity: Original Sin Subreddit! ![]() SB: Very few games can make me play it multiple times so the fact that I've done multiple playthroughs is a testament to how good the game is but I got bored of the game over the course of three playthroughs on the 2nd highest difficulty to the point I couldn't play to the end of following playthroughs without mods.Looking for a Group to play with? Try this thread || Discussion Overview However without mods I'd never touch the game again. I personally think the game is very good with pretty good replay ability due to the playable characters perspective, created character perspective, and overall choices. Harder difficulties can also make fights longer then the ought to be.Īfter frequent playthroughs I haven't touched the game again in almost 2 years without mods but there are others who play the base game religiously so it all depends on how you consume games like this. Combat even on the hardest difficulty can become very boring toward the end of the game because of how poorly balanced the game is, being turn-based also adds to the this boring aspect of the game. It's not inherently terrible but it almost seems like the game was written by two different groups at a certain point. The story quality takes a massive dip after getting to past the reaper coast arc imo. However in my experience the game gets quite boring as it progresses for a number of reasons.
